Giacomo Saggioro is the new Senior Business & Data Management Consultant in Irion Domain Advisory team led by Mario Vellella. For the last 13 years, he has worked in large international consulting companies, particularly – but not limited to – the area of Finance and risk management for banking and insurance. He started his career path in technical positions, then consolidated his experience in mediation (including functional) between IT and Business needs. He has also been a domain expert and data modeling specialist.

In particular, concerning financial service experience, Giacomo has been a project manager on Non-Performing Loan (NPL) initiatives and was in charge of the integration and transformation of regulatory reporting databases (FINREP and CONREP). One of his most significant projects included the transformation and creation of a data warehouse for an international bank (with Italian HQs), which had compelling Data Reconciliation needs. In consulting, Giacomo Saggioro has managed an Insight and Data structure following projects related to GDPR compliance and Data Governance.
