Mario Vellella joins Irion as Principal Advisor: he will be head of the Domain Advisory team. With a Ph.D. degree and over 25 years of experience in Finance, he has also been an advisor, researcher, and executive officer in risk management while collaborating with the Department of Economics and Management of La Sapienza University in Rome.
Author of international scientific publications, Mario is a Domain Expert in Data Governance and integrated risk management. He has honed his competencies as an advisor to multinational companies and within the Italian Post Group. In particular, Dr. Vellella was the Chief Data Officer and Head of the Integrated Risk and Model Validation Analysis Office for BancoPosta. He designed and implemented the advanced model for the operational risk management of the intermediary.
